Today Maddie came over while I was painting the fence. She was coming over because we were heading off down south for a clothing swap we were invited to. We weren't sure how much, or what we should bring, so we only filled our back backs, we went through what each other was giving away first and got the good stuff. So we got there, we felt bad because everyone had brought bags of clothes. It was funny, we felt bad for that. It was wonderful though, Maddie and I were worried that no one would want our crap, except all of our stuff was taken, it kind of felt good. There wasn't anything that we really wanted there, and everyone else knew each other and were a close knit group of friends, so Maddie and I were a little left out, but it was okay, I think it was worth it, I guess because we were going to recycle the clothes anyway and it was a good experience.
So after that Maddie came home with me, we made our own pizza and headed out on an adventure, one on Maddie's summer bucket list. To teach her how to ride a bike. She has never learned to ride a bike. To be honest I thought it was going to be a hard long experience, but with a few minutes of wobbling around she was already making her way safely down the hill. I was very proud of her. : )
