Yucky white spots in the back of your throat? Yes, Yucky white spots in the back of my throat. : (
So for the last couple of days my throat has been hurting, but that isn't that big of a deal, sore throats come and go. I decided to look in my mouth to see if it was swollen or anything and I was surprised to see these big white spots covering the back of my throat. This freaked me out, so I tried scraping it off. Why? because it looked gross. Looking back, that probably wasn't the smartest thing I could have done. So I went to the walk in clinic. Was prepared to wait two hours, got called in in five minutes. This lady starts erratically sticking thermometers in my mouth, and that blood pressure thing on my arm, all while laughing pretty historically. I was kind of worried she was the doctor, but thankfully that was not the case. So the doctor came in, did her doctor business, and told me I had strep throat, but she was going to send a swab in to check just in case. I wanted the medicine right away though because it started to get rather painful and I might be going on a trip.
My mother and I had to go to three different pharmacies because no one had the penicillin I needed. ( That's right Maddie, I was scared that I was going to be allergic like you. ) So I have to take it four times a day, and then there's this mouth wash stuff that is supposed to freeze my throat so I don't feel as much pain, but that's not working for me and I really wish it did.
So I know it's no big deal but it's starting to hurt even more, like the pain is becoming unbearable, I don't like the yucky stuff in my throat, and I've been contagious, keeping people away, apparently twenty four hours after taking the medicine I'm no longer contagious and can be around people, but now it hurts to much to do anything. So I'm hoping if I spend today sleeping that I can get over the worst of it and have a lot ( if not all : 3 ) of the pain go away, and especially not let the pain get worse because my family has now decided that we go away for the next week down to the states to go shopping and visit my aunt.
My parents said it was my call if we went or not, they just don't want to go and have me bed ridden the whole time. I do want to go, and I'm just going to suck it up, because my mom is looking forward to seeing her sister, my aunt, who is coming down to join us, and I want to go shopping ; 3. I have money saved up and everything.
So I'm off to eat my pro biotic yogurt because apparently that is supposed to help, but I'm lactose intolerant so it makes my stomach sore at the same time. I apologize for my bitching, but I need to bitch somewhere. ; 3
Jennifer's new revamped red hair. Plus just waking up and not doing anything with myself. Plus being sick. LOOK HOW SHORT SHE CUT IT >.<Anyways, I went to go get my hair cut, and dyed because I didn't like how I did it myself and I wanted it to be more red, I like how it turned out, except it is too short and not red enough. I'll get used to it, it will grow. OH and I'm not susposed to wash my hair for a week so the colour will stay in. Today is day .. three of not washing I think.
