Spent the day walking around, checking out farmers, checking out the grade tens doing social dance, it's funny to watch because everyone is always so awkward. The afternoon was pretty much spent with an .. acquaintance of last year, we were friends, but never really talked, about anything really, but I still liked her and knew her and things like that. It was really cool because we just opened up and started talking, and I got to learn some more really cool things about her, and realize that I would really like to get to know her more, and would love to hang out with her sometime, because I never had the opportunity, or I never took the opportunity to do so last year.
After school, and after some confusion of my deciding to ride with Jorelle to work and then figuring out how I was actually planning on getting home and getting picked up with my mother I received a phone call from my friend Jesse, he used to go to my school, but hes switched for the next semester to get his act together. Anyways he wanted to see if I knew of anyone that would like to hang out, well I turned out to be the only person to take advantage of this opportunity to see him. First he came over to my house because he had the car privileges and we weren't sure what we were going to do. So he shows up, were just talking to my mother in the kitchen, then the door bell rings, and theres this weird guy at the door, he had come to ask Jesse for directions, so Jesse went with him. Mother and I thought that this was sketchy, and we were confused how this guy knew Jesse, or how he was at our house and were were scared that something was going to happen to Jesse. So Jesse comes back and explains that the guy had not followed him here, get walked up to him while he was in our driveway and came back again because he didn't understand Jesse's directions. It still wierded me out a little, this guy was creepy.
After that Jesse decided we were going to Angel's drive in, a place he had talked highly of before, apparently best burger's ever, I wasn't hungry but we split one of his favorite burgers anyways, it was huge, but that's by my standards, and I suppose that isn't much. We spent hours talking, which is wonderful because Jesse has always been someone that conversation comes to easily with and I had missed talking to him. Then he told me their milkshakes were not as good as Peter's but then I still had to try one. So we did and then we left the actually restraunt part because we had been there for a couple of hours and felt we had over stayed our welcome ( the lady looked pissed but I think she always looked pissed.) So we took our milkshake back to the car, we just sat in the parking lot and talked for hours upon hours, from things like the must haves of vampire lore, how one would go about making a giant stuffed animal a functional costume without it being to creepy, about deeper stuff, about how things were going now, and we just talked. When we had gone out to the car there was still sun out, then by the time we left, the place was closed it was pitch black, minus street lights and such, and there was no one else around. I think it was a wonderful night that topped my other friday night plans of cleaning my bedroom.
Inside the diner place, I felt weird pulling out my camera in front of Jesse so I just took this one picture the whole night. He told me so many stories of this place, it has a lot of history for him, he told me stories of him being ten years old borrowing a picture from the wall to photo copy for his uncle, and the promise he made, and it was just uber cool.
