So I'm sitting in my room filling out applications. That's right, Jennifer is going to get herself a job. After school I headed downtown to meet my mother because there was a job fair going on that she said she would take me to. I even made my way downtown all by myself! :D Okay, so maybe I had someone tell me when I needed to get off, and that friend indeed walked with me until I found my mother, I'm pretty sure I would have been walking around down town for a long while without his help. Anyways, I found my mother, drove to the place, and ended up having to wait for around half an hour outside because there was so many people. Once we were inside it was still packed! Got squished, pushed, trampled, and my ass grabbed. If it helps me get the job.. ; ) KIDDING. I was even proud of myself because shy Jennifer actually talked to the people. :D I know, its not that impressive, but It is still a big step for me to get out of my shell. There were some places I wasn't terribly interested in, but I did find some places to apply in. My tops - London drugs - the manager was a very nice man, Safeway, Cineplex, Moxie's, The Zoo, and Co-op. I plan on continuing my hunt, but for now I think it is a pretty fair start, and I hope I get a job. Co-op, Yum. Ive been told its not the greatest place to work, but I'm going to make my own opinion on that - hopefully.Some Of the applications I'm filling out at the moment.
