May 30th 2010

Yesterday I was woken up against my will by my father. On the one day I actually wanted to sleep in, I had to be up. Why? I was going to camera class with my father. It was a one day .. four hour class that my dad was invited to because he recently bought a camera and the store held these helpful classes. He brought me along because well, I don`t think he wanted to go alone and because I also have a fancy shmancy camera do dad. I didn`t know what to expect when I got there, how it was going to work, what kind of people where there, was I going to be the odd one out because I had a cannon. So after finding the place ( with the help of GPS ) We went to go get starbucks, we were rather early and had some time to waste, by the time the woman was done making our drinks, we sort of had to rush because she was slow. We walked into the studio, and my dad became grumpy, not actually but we weren't aloud to bring food or drinks, so that coffee we waited so long for? say farewell happy caffeine friends. We walked up stairs to get to the studio, and walked down more to get to the room where they held the class. It was a decent side room, filled with rows of chairs, a projector at the front, and lighting equipment and more camera equipment pushed off to the sides. As I looked around there was a fair bit of people, more than I expected , I`m terrible at this but I`m going to guess fifty. There was a few teenagers, actually i think one other than me, also a tough looking father with his cute little girl. I was surprised at how many older people there were, good on them. I was relieved when I found out there was a whole mix of different camera makes and models. The class was really helpful, I knew a lot of things, but he explained them very well, and reassured things in my mind. I did actually learn what the one dial on my camera is for, I would always play with it but I never saw and difference, It sharpens the view finder! :D encase you were curious aswell. I had a really good day with my dad and I`m glad I got the chance to spend the day with him, that doesn`t happen very often, but it does mean something to me, he`s try. I`m glad I went, even though I was dead tired and the such, I would do it again in a heartbeat.I forget his name, but he was actually interesting and rather funny.
My daddy playing with his camera, I know it`s dark, and a terrible picture, but I was just taking them to try out what the man was talking about upfront. And there is a stove in the background.
