July 9^th

Today started out early, early compared to Jennifer, again another animal friend greeted us. Mother and I had trouble scheduling morning bathroom time, but we got it done. First we headed downtown on a hunt for cool little stores. That is what we found. A coffee shop filled with gargoyles ( I have a very deep love for gargoyles. ) An art store with the works of a past favourite artist ( Amy Brown ) Some bargain stores, some art galleries, a very wonderful first nation’s store, and subway : ) After that we left the city in search of search of second hand stores, we never did find the street we were supposed to turn on. Instead Mom took my on a car drive with a promise of a beach, it was taunting the whole way, because I could see the water, but for the whole ride we couldn`t find a way down to it. We did find this really cool pink house that was called ``The Flickering Goddess`` and inside it was filled to the brim with fairies! Mother loved it. Then we kept on going and there was still no way to the beach. We reached the end of the road, found more little pottery stores and other artisan stores. The sign read `` Pottery, Woodwork, Blacksmith, Jewerly, Brooms and Wizard.`` From that moment I needed to find the wizard. And later we found out the broom store we didn’t go inside is the same place that makes the brooms for Harry Potter, I thought that was super cool. The we headed back, I was upset because there still wasn`t a way to get to the beach, and about five minutes after I gave up hope, we took a risk and got down to a beach. It was fantastic, after walking around in 34 plus weather, the cold water was wonderful. I had to sneakily change on the beach, a time when I wish I knew Maddie`s bathing suit trick. It wasn`t that packed though, which was a good thing. I was a happy Jenn, we had to leave when it started raining, which I understand, I would have loved to lie on the beach in the rain though. Then we finally headed home, we were surprised that all the fast food restaurants were close so we luckily found a grocery store that was open for twenty more minutes and got us some microwavable dinners ( so much for my giving up the microwave.) It was all in all an amazing day, And I love spending this time with my mommy.

This is my kitty Friend that came and visited me, I sort of love him allready.
We decided he shall be named gingersnap. And he may or may not have a soul.
I like it, even though I was brushing ants off = P It crawled right onto our hands!
